Racing: South Atlantic.
Two leading contenders, the John Gosden-trained Desert Opal and Fremen, a stable companion of South Atlantic, are not certain to line-up, meaning a massive gamble has taken place on Saturday's Showcase Handicap over seven furlongs.
South Atlantic, who won his last race at Newmarket in July, is now favourite at a best-priced 7-1. Ayr Gold Cup hero Quito has been supported into 8-1, along with Royal Millennium, although Coral offer just 7-1 about David Chapman's charge.
