Racing: Piran can produce over shorter trip.

Byline: Paul Castles THE MAIL'S RACING CORRESPONDENT

PIRAN was all out to win at Ludlow in January and he can score at the Midlands track again today where the shorter trip should suit.

Jockey Paul Moloney delivered Piran with a well-timed run last time but having hit the front he had to be kept up to his work to hold on over the three-mile trip.

Glamorgan trainer Evan Williams is stepping his youngster down to 2m 5f this time and the move should reap the reward in the Sunday Raceday On 30th April Handicap Hurdle. (4.10)
