Racing: NAD AL SHEBA.

VICTORY MOON can beat off the American pair Medaglia d'Oro and Pleasantly Perfect to land the Dubai World Cup (5.20) at Nad Al Sheba today, writes Newsboy.

Mike de Kock's five-year-old starred on this card 12 months ago when gaining a hard-fought win over Godolphin's Songlark in the UAE Derby.

His foray to Europe last summer didn't go to plan, as he was an unlucky-in-running fifth to Falbrav in the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown in July before coming home 10th of 12 behind Alamshar in Ascot's King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes later that month.

He has settled in nicely in Dubai this year, running third to State Shinto at Nad Al Sheba at the end of January before proving three and a half lengths too strong for Inamorato there the following month.

Victory Moon tuned up for today by beating Dinyeper two and a half lengths over course and distance three weeks ago and a reproduction of that effort can net the $3million first prize.
