Racing: Danzolin can open account.

Byline: ARGUS

DANZOLIN looked certain to come on for her debut at Lingfield earlier in the month and that experience should stand her in good stead on the all-weather at Wolverhampton today.

The daughter of Danzero was a promising sixth over seven furlongs, beaten only three lengths by Desert Lightning after being slowly away.

She stayed on well once the penny dropped and trainer Walter Swinburn has found her a good opportunity in the Press Red To Win On ITV Median Auction Maiden Stakes over an extended mile.

Sir Sandrovitch looks the pick in division two of the PlayGameon And Win Cash On ITV Handicap.

Richard Fahey's runner has been most consistent this year, winning his first two starts before going down by a neck at Lingfield last time.

Sir Sandrovitch could not find the extra needed to beat Dutch Key Card after hanging and being carried wide under an inexperienced jockey.

The nine-year-old will benefit from Paul Hanagan's skills today and he can return from a short break in winning style.

Acertack ran a stinker last time out but he is back on his happy hunting ground at Plumpton, weather permitting and a much better show is expected in the John Smith's Novices' Handicap Chase.

The Richard Rowe-trained eight-year-old failed to perform at Wincanton, but six of his previous seven runs had been at Plumpton and he certainly appreciates the Sussex track.

He ran particularly well twice last month, finishing second to the in-form Barton Nic and then beating Brigadier Du Bois by six lengths in races over a two-mile-one-furlong trip.

He steps up to two and a half miles today, but was beaten only three-quarters of a length when tried over the course and distance in December and should not be inconvenienced
