Racing: BOOKIES ALL GO ROUND THE BEND.
Brian Boru, third in the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial earlier this month, was promoted to 3-1 favourite from 4-1 with Ladbrokes.
They pushed Refuse To Bend out to 7-2 from 11-4. William Hill also cut Aidan O'Brien's colt to 11-4 market leader from 7-2, with Refuse To Bend out to 100-30, while Coral offer the pair at 3-1.
Refuse To Bend, who has headed the market since his Newmarket triumph, had a gallop yesterday morning.
Afterwards his trainer Dermot Weld admitted the colt had not excelled, saying: "He's never impressive as he is laid back. He finished in front but he only wins his races narrowly and it's the same with his work."
However, Weld did admit that the going for next Saturday's race, given yesterday as good, good to firm in places, might be turning against Refuse To Bend.
"He'll have another spin on Tuesday morning, but I wouldn't want the ground too fast at Epsom," he added.
