Rachael Tinniswood: Sickened by a horrible act of cruelty.

Byline: Rachael Tinniswood

AN ardent cat lover, I couldn't let this column go by without mentioning the sickening act carried out by those who strung up two cats and suspended them from the window of an empty flat.

There is no point trying t o get into the mindset of these sadists. And fortunately, because they're not like you and me, we can't.

We can wring our hands in despair and condemn the sickening act that no doubt left the people of Kensington who were faced with the gruesome sight on Monday morning reeling, and I strongly believe that the people who did this will end up in jail having committed some cruel act of child abuse, but I will never be able to understand how anyone could get their kicks from stringing up animals.

Anyway, if it's kicks they want, contact me. After seeing those pictures, I'm ready to give them plenty
