 RYKOFF-SEXTON DECLARES DIVIDEND
 Los Angeles, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of


Rykoff-Sexton Inc. (NYSE: RYK) has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $.10 a share, payable Oct. 21, 1992 to shareholders of record Sept. 30, 1992.
 The payment reflects a reduction from the $.15 per share cash dividend paid in the comparable prior year quarter. The company stated that the board's decision to reduce the quarterly dividend payment was based on Rykoff-Sexton's financial results for the quarter ended Aug. 1, 1992.
 Rykoff-Sexton Inc. is a leading manufacturer and distributor of food and related products for restaurants, institutions and membership warehouse stores nationwide, as well as the country's largest restaurant equipment, supply, contract and design company. Manufacturing, processing and packaging operations are based in Los Angeles; Indianapolis; Englewood, N.J.; Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Des Moines, Iowa. The company's 29 distribution centers are located throughout the United States.
