RUGBY UNION: SCOTS HIT BY MAXTON KO.

RICHARD Maxton's World Series sevens dream crumbled yesterday when he was ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

The Glasgow Hawks forward was in line to make his Scotland short-game debut in Hong Kong and Beijing later this month. But he will now undergo rehab after surgery on the knee he damaged against Currie last weekend.
