RTM322 gets cert.

The Rolls-Royce Turbomeca RTM322 turboshaft engine, which has been designed specifically to operate the NH90 in 'hot and high' conditions, has received its civil type certificate from the European Aviation Safety Agency. The engine has a 30-minute take-off rating of 2580 shp and has been given a 7% power increase over the RTM322-01/9 variant. The Royal Air Force of Oman has chosen the new, more powerful engine to power its 20 twin-engined NH90s--the -10/9A engine variant is currently undergoing trials in Oman, operating in 48[degrees]C ambient temperatures. The RTM322 has been selected by ten of the twelve nations that have chosen the NH90.
