 RTD INTRODUCES NEW 'FAST-FUELING' COMPRESSED
 NATURAL GAS FUELING FACILITY, APRIL 10
 EVENT: RTD introduces and demonstrates new state-of-the-art


"fast-fueling" compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling facility. New CNG fuel pumps can fill empty CNG bus in about 10 minutes, whereas conventional "slow-fill" system took seven or eight hours. Facility was built as part of RTD's ongoing alternative fuels program, and is a demonstration project designed to increase efficiency of fueling of CNG- powered buses.
