 TO OBSERVE BLUE LINE TRAFFIC SIGNALS AND CROSSING GATES, JAN. 27
 EVENT: RTD Board President Marvin Holen urges public to observe
 Blue Line intersection traffic signals and crossing
 gates, as part of RTD's ongoing rail safety public
 awareness program and in the wake of a recent fatal
 accident in Compton. Local merchants on Washington
 Boulevard join safety effort by setting up displays of
 brochures in English and Spanish.
 DATE: Monday, Jan. 27

 Avenue, on Blue Line in Los Angeles. On lawn outside El
