RSA Data Security, Inc. President Honored with Visionary Award; CMP's CommunicationsWeek Names James Bidzos Among Visionaries Changing the Industry and the World.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 12, 1997--RSA Data Security, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Security Dynamics Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: SDTI), today announced that its president, Jim Bidzos, has been honored as a visionary for his contributions to the advancement of digital communications and its application to the goals of American business.

This annual award, bestowed to ten industry visionaries, was given by CMP's CommunicationsWeek during a ComNet '97 keynote ceremony on February 4.

Nominations for CommunicationsWeek's Visionary Awards were assessed by a panel of independent experts. CommunicationsWeek editorial staff determined the final list of winners based on the panel's recommendations. More than 100 executives from leading companies were nominated.
