RRTS rolls out new LTL partnership in Canada.

Asset-light transportation and logistics services provider Roadrunner Transportation Systems (RRTS) recently announced service changes for how it handles less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments in Canada. RRTS now has a new service agreement with Mississauga, Ontario-based Sameday Worldwide, a full-service transportation and logistics provider focusing on expedited ground and air shipments, cross-border ground distribution, e-commerce fulfillment and residential delivery, with 32 terminals in Canada. Sameday is now handling all RRTS LTL shipments in eastern Canada, with RRTS handling all of Sameday's shipments within its U.S. network. "Roadrunner has a strong desire to grow its volume of cross-border business, and having an exclusive alignment with a respected partner like Sameday made great sense for both our short and long-term strategy," said Grant Crawford, president of Roadrunner LTL.
