RPPTL honors Steven Lesser.
Steven B. Lesser of Becker & Poliakoff was honored with The Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Section's Construction Law Committee's "Lifetime Achievement Award" at a ceremony March 11 at the Ninth Annual Construction Law Institute in Orlando.
Lesser was recognized for his contributions as immediate past chair of the ABA's Forum on Construction Law, his work with The Florida Bar's efforts to offer board certification to the state's top construction lawyers, his writing on subjects critical to construction practitioners, his high-profile practice of construction law, and his dedication to community initiatives such as TopSoccer. Only eight attorneys in Florida have been awarded the Committee's Lifetime Achievement Award.
"It was a tremendous honor for me to present Steve with the Lifetime Achievement Award--as Steve's friend and partner at Becker & Poliakoff for more than 30 years, I am certain there is no one more deserving of this prestigious recognition," said Gary C. Rosen, managing shareholder of Becker & Poliakoff. "He works harder and is more dedicated to his clients, firm, legal profession, and community than any attorney I know."
