RPP to launch nationwide movement for Hindu nation.

The extended central committee meeting of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) held in Kathmandu on 16 March has decided to launch nationwide movement beginning from 29 March to 17 April demanding restoration of the Hindu nation.

The first phase of the movement will start with signature collection campaign nationwide.

On 8 April, one hour sit-in programme is scheduled in all the district headquarters, province capital and Singhadurwar in Kathmandu.

On 18 April, the party has scheduled to burn banners and play-cards on secularism.

On 21 April, the party has scheduled to launch two-hour long sit-in programme halting transportation in all the highways and crossroads.

The second phase demonstration will be centralized to the district headquarters and the third phase demonstration will be centralized in Kathmandu.

The meeting also urged Biplav led Maoist group to give up bloody violence and the government to lift ban on the Biplav group's activities and resolve the dispute through peaceful talks. Furthermore, RPP has demanded to the government to clarify on the agreement in between the government and CK Raut as the agreement has raised different questions. Last week, RPP concluded its Mechi-Mahakali National Pride Journey that was started from Taplejung in the east and Kanchanpur in the west and was concluded in Kathmandu. RPP conducted mass meetings in every junction in the course of nationwide journey.

The nationwide journey was concluded by organizing a mass-rally in three cities - Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and Kathmandu and - a mass meeting at the Exhibition Road in Kathmandu. RPP was able to bag a huge amount of public support on its agenda for Hindu nation.
