 RPM ELECTS LORRIE GUSTIN TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
 MEDINA, Ohio, July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- RPM, INC. (NASDAQ: RPOW) is


pleased to announce that the RPM board of directors has elected today Lorrie Gustin, Milwaukee, to fill an open seat on the RPM board. Gustin has been an owner and officer of several independent entrepreneurial companies. She is presently director of the National Association of Investors Clubs (N.A.I.C.) Trust, the administrative body of the N.A.I.C. Corporation, and also has served as secretary of the World Federation of Investment Clubs since 1978.
 The N.A.I.C. Corporation is an organization dedicated to investment education, representing 8,071 investment clubs worldwide and 155,000 individual members.
 Gustin has served as an officer and director of the N.A.I.C. Corporation from 1966 - 1983 and as president from 1980 -1983. In a recent survey of NAIC membership, RPM ranked fourth of all publicly owned companies in terms of stock held by individual N.A.I.C. members. Gustin's long and successful career in business management and investment activities will add strongly to the RPM board of directors.
 RPM, INC. is a manufacturer of specialty coatings for the waterproofing and corrosion control markets and products for the do- it-yourself, hobby and craft, and marine markets.
