ROUSSEL UCLAF ANNOUNCES EXPECTED ACQUISITION OF
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIVISION OF WELLCOME FOUNDATION, LTD.
ENGLEWOOD, N.J., Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Roussel UCLAF has announced its intention to acquire the international Environmental Health business of the Wellcome Foundation, Ltd.
Negotiations for Roussel UCLAF's acquisition of Environmental Health, which operates in the United States as Fairfield American Corporation, Rutherford, N.J., have entered the "due diligence" phase.
In the United States, Roussel Bio Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Roussel UCLAF, would merge with Fairfield American, a manufacturer and marketer of pesticides for the professional pest control, public health and concentrate markets. The new organization will place itself in a position to better serve the needs of customers within its markets.
Roussel Bio Corporation is a national manufacturer and supplier of insecticides, and marketer of branded specialty chemical products for the professional pest control and consumer lawn and garden markets.
