ROUND ONE TO TOMMY IN FIGHT FOR CHILDREN.

ROCKER Tommy Lee has won the first round of a bitter legal battle with ex-wife Pamela Anderson.

The former Baywatch star had launched a blistering attack on the Motley Crue drummer in a bid to gain full custody rights to their sons Brandon, five, and Dylan, three.

The 34-year-old actress had accused Lee, 39, of being an unfit father and subjecting the boys to physical and mental abuse.

She filed a motion with Los Angeles Superior Court to restrict his time with their children and to order that he participates in a six- month parenting class, a six-month anger-management course and undergoes a psychiatric evaluation.

But judge Lee Smalley Edmon rejected requests by Anderson's lawyers that the musician's contact with his children should be monitored.

The next court hearing will take place on March 19.
