ROSS PEROT, TOM BROKAW TO KEYNOTE NADA CONVENTION IN SAN FRANCISCO

    Former independent presidential candidate Ross Perot and NBC News anchor Tom Brokaw will keynote the general sessions at the National Automobile Dealers Association's 77th annual convention and equipment exposition, to be held in the Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco, Jan. 29-Feb. 1, 1994.
    Perot, who captured 17 percent of the popular vote in the 1992 presidential campaign, is the founder of Electronic Data Systems, a multi-billion dollar corporation employing more than 70,000 people.  He currently heads United We Stand, a political group spearheading the populist drive to eliminate the nation's budget deficit.  Perot will keynote the closing general session of the convention, Tuesday, Feb. 1.
    An acclaimed political reporter, Brokaw has covered every presidential election since 1968.  He is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Peabody, an Emmy and two National Headliner Awards. He has written articles, essays and commentary for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times and Sports Illustrated. Brokaw will deliver the keynote speech at the opening session of the convention, Saturday, Jan. 29.
    The convention will also feature a non-denominational inspirational service led by Jake Garn, former U.S. senator and astronaut, Sunday, Jan. 30.
    The National Automobile Dealers Association represents more than 19,000 franchised new-car and -truck dealers holding 35,000 separate franchises, domestic and import.
