RONALD TO LEAVE AEL

 LANSDALE, Pa., June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- AEL Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: AELNA) announced today that Mark H. Ronald has resigned as president and chief operating officer to accept the position as president and chief executive officer of GEC Marconi Electronic Systems Corporation in Wayne, N.J.
 Ronald will also leave his position on AEL's Board of Directors, and will not stand for re-election at the company's shareholder meeting scheduled for July 15, 1993.
 Dr. Leon Riebman, chairman and CEO, expressed regret at Ronald's departure. He said, "Mark joined AEL a decade ago and, through his leadership and dedication, the company has achieved a respected position among our peers in the defense electronics industry." Riebman will assume the duties of the COO when Ronald leaves on June 25, 1993.
 AEL is a major supplier of electronic defense systems and subsystems. The company designs and manufactures sophisticated countermeasures, simulation and radar warning systems, engages in the installation and integrates electronic and avionics equipment in military aircraft, and provides state-of-the-art antenna systems, microwave integrated components and hybrid microelectronic circuits.
 The class A common stock of AEL Industries, Inc. is traded on the NASDAQ National Market System under the symbol AELNA.
