ROLLS ELECTED VICE PRESIDENT AND CONTROLLER OF BFGOODRICH

 AKRON, Ohio, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Steven G. Rolls has been elected vice president and controller of The BFGoodrich Company (NYSE: GR). The appointment is effective Nov. 1.
 Currently vice president-finance for the company's Aerospace Division, Rolls, 38, joined Goodrich in 1981 as a financial analyst in the Chemical Division. He subsequently held a number of management positions in the Treasury Division, becoming an assistant treasurer in 1985. In 1987 he joined BFGoodrich Canada as vice president-finance.
 Prior to joining Goodrich, Rolls held several sales and marketing positions with Wilson Sporting Goods Co. and Alberto Culver Co.
 Rolls received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in 1977, and a master of business administration degree from Ohio State University in 1981.
 Rolls succeeds Donald G. Barger Jr., who joined Worthington Industries Inc. on Sept. 1 as vice president of finance and chief financial officer.
 BFGoodrich provides aircraft systems, components and services and manufactures a wide range of specialty chemicals.
