ROHR BEGINS DELIVERIES ON $75 MILLION ORDER FOR BOEING 757 STRUTS

 CHULA VISTA, Calif., June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Rohr Inc. (NYSE: RHR) recently began deliveries on the next lot of follow-on struts for the Rolls-Royce RB211-powered Boeing 757 passenger jet. Struts, also called pylons, are the structures that connect the engine to the aircraft wing or fuselage.
 Rohr is scheduled to deliver the order under contract to the Boeing Commercial Airplane Group from now through May of 1995. The sales value of the order is approximately $75 million, which is included in Rohr's firm backlog of $1.4 billion as reported in the company's fiscal year 1993 third quarter results.
 Rohr has delivered 300 shipsets (600 units) of pylons for the Rolls- Royce-powered 757 since the program began in 1983. Rohr also produces the struts for the Pratt & Whitney PW2037 version of the 757.
 Rohr designs, manufactures, integrates and supports engine nacelle systems and components for commercial, military and business aircraft. The company also manufactures solid rocket motor casings and nozzles for the Titan IV launch vehicle. Rohr, headquartered in Chula Vista, has facilities in the United States and Europe.
