ROCKWELL INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION COMPLETES ACQUISITION IN CZECH REPUBLIC

 TROY, Mich., May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Rockwell International Corporation (NYSE: ROK) announced today completion of its acquisition of the former automotive component plant of Skoda Mlada Boleslav located in Liberec in the Czech Republic.
 The new company -- Rockwell BCS-Liberec a.s., a subsidiary of Rockwell Body and Chassis Systems-France -- will develop, manufacture and supply Rockwell-made window regulators, seat slides and recliners as well as additional automotive components and systems as required by both the Czech and other automotive markets throughout the world.
 The Rockwell BCS-Liberec plant will be progressively integrated into Rockwell's Body and Chassis Systems' worldwide network of manufacturing locations. This integration includes the use of extensive employee training programs to achieve "World Class" manufacturing performance.
 Rockwell's body and Chassis Systems business designs, develops and manufactures roof and door systems, plastic products, access control, seat adjusting and suspension systems, and wheels for the automotive industry. It operates engineering centers of expertise and manufacturing centers in North and South America, Europe, Australia and Japan.
 Rockwell's automotive business is a leading global supplier of components and systems for passenger cars, light trucks, medium- and heavy-duty trucks, and off-highway equipment.
