ROCKWELL AUTOMOTIVE PRESIDENT RONALD L. ROUDEBUSH TO BRIEF JOURNALISTS ON RECENT SUCCESSES AS HIS COMPANY DRIVES TO SALES GOAL

DETROIT, March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Rockwell International Corporation's Automotive President Ronald L. Roudebush Tuesday will discuss with journalists the company's notable progress toward achieving its sales targets, with emphasis on the global strategies it has engaged to accomplish its goals.
Roudebush's remarks will take place at 9 a.m. in Room 02-43, Cobo Center (adjacent to the SAE/Ford Media Center).
Roudebush will discuss numerous new contracts Rockwell Automotive has landed for future model years, to supply a wide range of products to customers in North America, Europe and Japan. The new business is the fruit of initiatives that are relying on transferring Rockwell International's proven technologies to new geographical markets and new customers, commercializing new products, and applying sophisticated technology from the corporation's Electronics and Defense businesses to automotive markets.
The topics Roudebush will touch on are tied to Rockwell Automotive's growth strategy and Rockwell International Corporation's increasing emphasis on growing its commercial businesses. These developments are manifestations of the corporation's investment of an additional $1 billion in its Automotive business, announced last September.
The press briefing is part of Rockwell Automotive's participation in this year's Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Congress and Exposition. Another major component is the comprehensive product display on its stand on the show floor.
Rockwell Automotive's exhibit includes body electronics applications, innovative composite components, seat-adjusting systems, suspension components, wheels, and sunroofs and door systems.
Rockwell International Corporation (NYSE: ROK), headquartered in Seal Beach, Calif., is a multi-industry company applying advanced technology to a wide range of products in its electronics, aerospace, automotive and graphics businesses.
