 ROCKWELL AUTOMOTIVE NAMES BONDY VICE PRESIDENT-FINANCE
 FOR ITS SUSPENSION SYSTEMS BUSINESS
 TROY, Mich., Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Rockwell International Corporation (NYSE: ROK) has announced the promotion of Norman E. Bondy Jr. to vice president-Finance of Rockwell International Suspension Systems Company (RISSC).
 In his new position, Bondy is responsible for all RISSC financial operations at RISSC's Troy world headquarters, and its three production facilities in Chatham and Milton, Ontario, and Hopkinsville, Ky.
 He reports directly to J. Douglas Lamb, RISSC president. Bondy replaces Charles Weisbaum, who has been promoted to vice president- Manufacturing.
 A 26-year Rockwell veteran, Bondy previously was manager of financial analysis for Rockwell's Automotive Body and Chassis Systems business.
 He first joined Rockwell in 1966 and served as office services manager until 1976. He then was appointed financial analyst in Rockwell's former Automotive Products Division.
 He later was controller of Rockwell's mechanical springs plant in Chelsea, Mich., from 1978 to 1981. He then spent two years as manager of finance in Rockwell's former Suspension Components Business.
 In 1984, he was appointed financial analyst for Automotive Body and Chassis Systems, then promoted to manager of financial analysis in 1986.
 Bondy holds a bachelor of science degree in finance from Wayne State University.
 He and his wife Elaine reside in Shelby Township, Mich. They have a son, Scott, and daughter, Kerry.
 Rockwell International Suspension Systems Company is a joint venture between Rockwell International Corporation and Mitsubishi Steel Manufacturing Co., Ltd. of Japan.
