ROCKING HORSE ANNOUNCES RECORD EARNINGS

 CHERRY HILL, N.J., March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- A.J. Clegg, chairman and chief executive officer of The Rocking Horse Child Care Centers of America, Inc. (NASDAQ: RHCC), today announced 1992 record net earnings of $1,805,166 on revenue of $33,497,877 versus a 1991 net loss of $3,824,498 on revenue of $34,664,673.
 The company achieved income of $.12 per share on the weighted average number of shares totaling 13,997,162 in 1992 versus a net loss of $.33 per share on the weighted average number of shares totaling 11,436,753.
 The results for the fourth quarter ending Dec. 31, 1992, showed a net income of $109,360 versus a net loss of $4,453,177 for the same period in 1991. Clegg also noted the reduction in liabilities of $6,634,278 in 1992. Due to the improved financial performance and position of the company, Coopers and Lybrand, the company's independent accountants, are expected to issue an unqualified opinio, Clegg said.
