 SECOND ANNUAL TOTAL QUALITY UTILITY CONFERENCE
 ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Rochester Telephone (NYSE: RTC) has been invited to present its regional telephone operations' vision at the second annual Total Quality Utility Conference, Sept. 13-16, 1992, in Kansas City, Mo.
 Johann Gnan, support services director-regional telephone operations, and John Schultz, manager-office of quality, will conduct a presentation that will focus on the strategies taken and lessons learned through the quality process deployment in the company's subsidiary operations division. This division is composed of 38 mid-sized and small telephone companies.
 The presentation will cover the goals of the organization's vision, including the integration of quality process into all business practices and decision-making processes in the organization.
 Rochester Tel is headquartered in Rochester, N.Y. It operates 38 local telephone companies in 15 states. It also operates three unregulated subsidiaries: RCI, a leading provider of voice, video and data communications, with principle operations in the northeast; Rotelcom Network Systems, which provides call center solutions to business and is a distributor of Rolm and PictureTel equipment; and Rochester Tel Mobile Communications, a provider of cellular and other wireless communications in upstate New York and five other states.
