ROBERT N. SHUSTER APPOINTED PRESIDENT AND CEO OF CENTRAL HOLDING COMPANY
 CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich., Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert N. Shuster, president of Colonial Central Savings Bank, F.S.B. (Colonial), has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Central Holding Company (CHC) (NASDAQ-NMS: CHOL). The announcement was made by Central Holding Company's board of directors.
 Shuster was appointed president of Colonial in February 1992. The position of president and chief executive officer of CHC had been vacant since February 1992. He will now retain both positions.
 Shuster joined CHC and its subsidiaries in August of 1983. During this time, he has served as executive vice president of the Mortgage Banking Division of Colonial and chief operating officer of Central Mortgage Corporation, another subsidiary of CHC. Shuster also previously served as vice president and chief financial officer of CHC and Colonial.
 Prior to joining CHC and its subsidiaries, Shuster had been an audit manager at Arthur Andersen & Co., an independent public accounting firm.
 Shuster has a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Michigan. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
 A resident of Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich., Shuster is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Mortgage Bankers Association of Michigan and the Financial Managers Society.
 CHC is a financial services organization headquartered in Clinton Township. Its main operating subsidiaries include: Colonial Central Savings Bank, F.S.B., a federally chartered stock savings bank with branches in Michigan and Indiana, and Central Mortgage Corporation, which originates residential mortgage loans.
