ROBERT BANTA NAMED MOOG DIRECTOR EAST AURORA, N.Y., Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- R.T. Brady, Moog Inc.
(AMEX: MOG) president, announced today that the board of directors named Robert R. Banta a director of the company to represent its Class A shareholders.
Banta joined Moog in April 1983 as vice president-finance. Formerly, he was executive vice president of corporate banking at the M&T Bank in Buffalo, having been employed there since 1971. In 1988, Banta was named executive vice president & chief financial officer of Moog Inc. Banta is a graduate of Rutgers University and received his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania in 1966. He is a director of TripiFoods Inc. and vice chairman and director of Health Care Plan, a not-for-profit health maintenance organization. He is also a member of the Buffalo Club and the Crag Burn Club. He resides with his family in East Aurora.
