ROBB JOINS FRUEHAUF TRAILER CORPORATION AS VICE PRESIDENT - CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT

 SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of a major organizational realignment, William H. Robb has been named to the newly created position of vice president - Corporate Development for Fruehauf Trailer Corporation. The announcement was made by Fruehauf President and CEO Thomas B. Roller.
 Robb, 46, joins Fruehauf's executive staff with extensive experience in corporate development, strategic planning, and resource and organizational management. In his new position, he will oversee Fruehauf's international operations, asset deployment and investor relations.
 Most recently, Robb was senior vice president and director of Sentry Financial Corporation (Salt Lake City), where he directed institutional investor relations and origination leasing programs. Prior to that, Robb spent 10 years specializing in corporate development activities as vice president and managing director of the merger and acquisitions group at Continental Bank (Chicago) and as a partner with a private investment firm, Ridge Capital Corporation (Barrington, Ill.).
 From 1979 to 1981, he was a consultant and manager with A.T. Kearney, Inc. (Chicago), where he counseled Fortune 100 companies in the areas of marketing, organization and strategy management. He had also served as vice president - Planning for Champ Corporation, a Barrington, Ill., foundry operation, and as assistant vice president - Corporate Planning for Commerce Union Bancorporation of Nashville, Tenn.
 Robb began his professional career in 1969 in market research and product management with A.B. Dick Co., the Chicago-based manufacturer of reprographic equipment. He earned bachelor of science and master degrees in business administration from Northwestern University.
