Ailsa Greenhalgh 25, joins John Leslie to present Channel 5's travel show Was It Good For You? every Thursday at 8pm. They hook up with three different groups of holiday makers - giving the viewer a real insight into Brits abroad.

Name: Ailsa Greenhalgh.

Favourite soap/character: Unfortunately in the last 10 months I've missed out on soaps as I've been filming so much.

Which TV programme makes you turn off? Party Political Broadcasts.

First ever job? Waitressing - I livened up quiet moments by pretending I was foreign and couldn't speak English.

One job you would have loved? I've always loved travelling and having a good chat - so presenting Was It Good For You? was a fab job.

Who makes you laugh? My co-presenter Geoff Day - it's never dull with him.

Favourite movie star? The Full Monty's Robert Carlyle - extremely talented and great crumpet.

First and last record you bought? First: Boney M - Night Flight To Venus. Last: The Verve - Urban Hymns.

Most embarrassing moment? On holiday when I burst into the wrong room and saw our German neighbours naked on the bed.

All time hero? Miss Piggy - a porker with attitude.

What book are you reading? Travel writer Bill Bryson's book Notes From. A Small Island. I met him while filming on the QE2 but had to rush off to be seasick.

What do you like/Hate most about your body? It's all in perfect working order and that's enough for me!

What is the most expensive treat you've ever bought yourself? Most recently a "Ghost" dress. I'm not saying how much I spent but it was worth every penny.

If you were an animal what would you be? A party animal

Where in the world would you live and why? San Francisco, it's got such a great mix of culture

Your dream dinner guests? My great friend Emma because we'd be guaranteed to have a great time.

If you had three wishes, what would they be? I refer to the Del Boy Trotter school of thought - "Why have three wishes when your first wish can be to have as many wishes as you want?"

When are you happiest? With my family and friends.
