ROASTERS' SENIOR EXECUTIVE PASSES AWAY

 FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Donald Greer, age 64, senior vice president of Kenny Rogers Roasters passed away last week. Greer, instrumental in Roasters enormous growth, was a 40-year veteran of the restaurant industry.
 Prior to his employment with Roasters, Greer had served in various ownership and executive capacities, including vice chairman of the board of Kentucky Fried Chicken, president of a large Wendy's franchise group, and executive positions with Mr. Gatti's Pizza and Pizzeria Unos.
 John Y. Brown Jr. (former owner of KFC), founder and chairman of Kenny Rogers Roasters said, "Don was a driving force in the development and success of our young company. I think Don was the most effective franchise sales executive that I've known in the franchise industry. Additionally, he was a constant source of guidance and motivation for all of us. He will be sorely missed."
 Greer leaves his wife, Terrence Anne (Terry), his five children; daughters Becky, Kelly and Pam, and two sons Steven and Michael; his three granddaughters Tina and Samantha Turner and Jesse Greer and four grandsons, Jose Jeremiah, Jonathan and Michael Greer.
 A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 6 at 2 p.m. at the Roasters National Headquarters, 600 Corporate Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Don Greer Memorial Trust and mailed to Roasters, 600 Corporate Drive, Suite 100, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33334. Contributions will go toward the building of a memorial garden at Roasters new National Training Center, presently under construction at 5990 North Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale.
