ROADMASTER HEADS FOR RECORD YEAR

 ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Dec. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Roadmaster Industries Inc. ("RMI") (NASDAQ: WHEL) said today it expects the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, 1992 to be record breaking for both revenues and earnings. Total net revenues reported for all operating units for November 1992 was $33 million as compared to November 1991 revenues of $24 million, an increase of 37.5 percent. December 1992 revenues are expected to be the best December in the history of the company. Because of the strong demand for its products the company expects its manufacturing facilities to only close for the normal holiday observances. In past years, the manufacturing facilities were closed up to several weeks during December the company said.
 The company also announced that Louis J. Conti, has been elected a director of both the company and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Roadmaster Corp. In addition, Conti will serve as chairman of the company's audit committee. Conti has served as a director of Emerson Electric Co. (NYSE: EMR), St. Louis, since 1975. Emerson Electric Co. is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of electric products for the consumer and industrial markets and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. In addition, Conti has served as a director of Esco Electronics Corp. (NYSE: ESE), St. Louis since 1990. Esco Electronics Corp. is engaged in the manufacturing of electronic products for the military and commercial markets. Conti was appointed in 1977 to serve on the Reserve Forces Policy Board from which he retired as chairman emeritus in 1985. Conti is also a Major General, U.S. Marine Corps. Reserve, retired.
