 ROADMASTER EXPECTS RECORD PERFORMANCE; NINE MONTH SALES & EARNINGS
 EXPECTED TO BE HIGHEST IN COMPANY'S HISTORY
 ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Roadmaster Industries Inc. ("RMI") (NASDAQ: WHEL) announced today that it expects sales and earnings for the nine months ended Sept. 30, 1992, to be the highest in the company's history. Unaudited net sales for the nine month period are expected to be in the $144.0 million range compared to $119.0 million for the like period last year, an increase of approximately 21 percent. For the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 1992, unaudited sales are anticipated to be approximately $52.5 million as compared to $50.5 million for the comparable quarter in 1991.
 Earnings for the third quarter and nine months ended Sept. 30, 1992, are also expected to exceed last year's record results. Final results for the quarter and nine months are scheduled to be released by Oct. 30, 1992.
 The company said bicycle and fitness product sales remained strong through the third quarter exceeding last year's results for the like period by approximately 40 percent. The Roadmaster Corp. unit introduced its Motocykes product line during the third quarter 1992 and has received positive feedback from retailers on consumer reaction and the resulting sales. Television advertising for the Motocykes began in October for a pre-holiday promotion campaign.
 Roadmaster Industries Inc. operates through its two wholly-owned subsidiaries, Roadmaster Corp. and Hamilton Lamp Corp. as well as its majority-owned subsidiary, International Sports and Fitness Inc. Roadmaster Corp. is a leading designer and manufacturer of Roadmaster junior wheel goods, Roadmaster bicycles and Vitamaster fitness equipment. Hamilton Lamp Corp. is a leading manufacturer of lamps and replacement shades.
