ROAD REPORT.

Here's a look at major road construction this week around the region. Weather conditions may cause delays.

Eugene-Springfield area

Intersection of Highway 126 and Main Street in Springfield: Work continues on the Jasper Road extension project, including the installation of a storm sewer system between Daisy Street and South 57th Street, the activation of a temporary traffic signal at the intersection of Main and Highway 126, placing fill material near South 57th and Glacier streets and miscellaneous shoulder work. Expect frequent delays and lane closures of 5 to 10 minutes between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Garden Way in Eugene: A major improvement of Garden Way, between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Sisters View Avenue, continues. The installation of storm water lines from Commons Drive to Sisters View will cause periodic road closures and delays. The bicycle path from MLK Boulevard to Sisters View remains closed.

Willamette Street: Closed to through traffic between Eighth Avenue and 10th Avenue from 6 a.m. Monday through 6 p.m. Thursday for replacement of brick crosswalks. Broadway will remain open during construction.

Bertelsen Road: Closed to through traffic between West First Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard from 6 a.m. Monday through 6 p.m. Friday for railroad crossing repairs.

Florence

Clear Lake Road: Weather permitting, excavation and fill work will continue on the roadway-widening project between Canary Road and Jensen Lane. Expect 10 to 15 minute delays.

Seavey Loop area

Seavey Way: Finishing work continues on the new Frank Parish Bridge over the Coast Fork of the Willamette River. Access to the Howard Buford Recreation Area and Mt. Pisgah Arboretum remains open. Expect minimal delays.
