Here's a look at major road construction this week around the region.
Pearl Street: Closed north of Fifth Avenue during daytime hours Monday through Wednesday for Union Pacific Railroad upgrades to the track crossing. At night, track trenches will be filled with gravel and the intersection will be open as a rough crossing.
Broadway: Closed between Oak and Willamette streets Sunday through Tuesday for repair of brickwork in the street. Repairs will be made between Willamette and Charnelton streets during the same period, but the block will remain open with short delays.
Coburg Road: Periodic lane closures in the northbound lanes.
Carthage Avenue to Beacon Drive: Installation of storm drain sewers begins Monday. 20 minute delays; flaggers; seek alternate routes Santa Clara area
Irvington Drive: Installation of storm drain sewers from Korbel Street to NW Expressway. Roadbed excavation to begin Monday. Utility work continues at the east end of the project near River Road. Seek alternate routes.
Blue River area
Blue River Drive: Driveway paving begins Monday with shoulder rock to continue throughout the week.10 minute delays.
McKenzie River Drive: Driveway paving and shoulder rock is scheduled to take a week beginning Monday. 10 minute delays.
Seavey Loop Area
Frank Parrish Bridge, Seavey Way: Work on the Frank Parrish Bridge over the Coast Fork of the Willamette River continues. Traffic will be rerouted around the new bridge. Access to the Howard Buford Recreation Area and Mt. Pisgah Arboretum will remain open. Minimal delays.
Mohawk River Bridge, Marcola Road: : Realignment and excavation from the Mohawk River Bridge to Shadows Drive continues. 10 to 15 minute delays; flaggers.
Marcola Road, Parsons Creek to Wendling Road: Prelevel paving begins Monday near Parsons Creek. Roadway widening and installation of new storm drain system will continue through the month of July. 20 minute delays; flaggers.
Territorial Highway: Adding left-turn lane at Warthen Road and building curbs, sidewalks and a pedestrian island at a school crossing. Expect 20 minute delays during the day Monday through Friday. From Franklin Road to Kirk Road pavement patching on Wednesday .
Highway 99 West: Rebuilding highway through Junction City continues, from Flat Creek Bridge to West Third Avenue, with traffic down to one lane in each direction and construction on the east side. No left turns allowed in work zone; access across the construction zone at First Avenue on the south and 10th Avenue on the north. Nighttime lane closures and 20 minute delays.
Highway 58: Highway widening, addition of passing lanes, new fish culverts, signs and guardrails from Kitson Ridge to the West Salt Creek Tunnel.
Highway 58 Minor delays and closed lanes from Dexter Park to Kitson Ridge Road, mileposts 11 to 39.
South Lane County
Interstate 5: Halsey Interchange to Lane County border, and Goshen to Cottage Grove. Minor delays for nighttime work four miles south of the Halsey exit.
Highway 126, Finn Rock to Lane County border: Expect occasional one-lane traffic for work on the McKenzie River Bridge in McKenzie Bridge.
