ROAD REPORT.
Byline: The Register-GuardHere's a look at major road construction this week around the region. Weather conditions may cause delays.
Eugene-River Road area
Brentwood Street: Paving work complete. Minor cleanup to be completed.
Freemont Avenue: Paving scheduled after mid-week. Access to homes during paving limited during work shift. One day required for paving. Flaggers.
Oak Drive: Paving work complete. Minor cleanup to be completed.
Lake Drive: Paving work complete. Minor cleanup to be completed.
Labona Street: Final base rock next week with paving scheduled for June 2. Access to homes during paving work limited during work shift. Flaggers.
Enid Road: Overlay paving complete. Driveway paving and incidental construction remainder of week. Flaggers.
Carol Avenue: Overlay paving complete. Driveway paving and incidental construction scheduled. Flaggers.
Veneta area
Marina Drive and Cul-de-sac: Overlay paving scheduled for Tuesday. Driveway paving and shoulder rock will follow later in week. Flaggers. Expect 10-minute delays.
Marcola area
Mohawk River Bridge, Marcola Road: Construction to remove the old bridge ongoing through July. Completion of roadwork will resume as weather improves. Minimal delays expected.
Marcola Road, Parsons Creek to Wendling Road: Construction to clear project will continue as weather allows. Installation of new storm drain system begins Tuesday. Expect up to 20-minute delays. Work will continue throughout summer.
Marcola Road, at Camp Creek Road: Paving work completed. Shoulder rock placement planned early in week.
Old Mohawk Road: Paving work completed. Shoulder rock placement planned early in week.
