BEVERLY HILLS, Mich., June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Road Commissioners for Oakland County has selected Hermanoff & Associates as its agency of record. The agency will be responsible for designing and implementing a complete public information and awareness program for the Road Commission's SCATS and FAST-TRAC systems.
"Hermanoff & Associates brings a creativity and enthusiasm that is needed to capture the imagination of the public in order for them to easily accept this new technology," said Brent O. Bair, managing director of the Road Commission. "Considering the agency's competency and experience in all facets of public information services, we are confident that our objectives and goals will be met."
The SCATS and FAST-TRAC systems, partially implemented in Troy, are both a traffic signal control system utilizing video cameras linked to computers at the intersection to analyze conditions and activate traffic signals to reduce wait time at those traffic signals; and, in-vehicle guidance devices. They both operate in real-time, adjusting traffic- signal timing and response to traffic demand; and, alerting drivers to accidents, if necessary.
Hermanoff & Associates, of Farmington Hills, is a full-service public relations/marketing firm. The agency, founded on the premise that it provide exceptional service and creativity, currently has six account teams, 15 employees and services approximately 30 accounts.
