RMI Titanium Company announces new prices for aircraft quality, standard grade titanium billet.

NILES, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 27, 1995--RMI Titanium Company (NYSE; RTI) has issued new prices for aircraft quality, standard grade titanium billet used in nonrotor and structural applications.

The prices are effective immediately and apply to new orders and quotations for products scheduled for delivery OCTOBER 1 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 1995. Prices are FOB Niles, Ohio, and subject to change without notice. The surcharges listed below each alloy designation are to be added to the base price and will be invoiced as a separate line item for material to be shipped OCTOBER 1 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 1995.

The Company's goal continues to be to eliminate the surcharges at the earliest possible date. -0-

MULTIPLE WEIGHT AND EXACT LENGTH EXTRA


Random Length: No extra. A length range of 24 inches minimum may be
specified provided 10% of the ordered quantity may be shipped under
the minimum length.


Multiple Length: Lengths that will yield two or more pieces of the
specified length. Unless otherwise specified, 1/2-inch per cut for
kerf loss plus 1/4-inch on the overall length will be allowed. When
ordered by weight, tolerances are +5% -0.

or applicable specifications is provided for special finish billets

HEAT TREATING EXTRA
Base condition of titanium billets is mill annealed. For billets
supplied in the solution treated or in the solution treated and aged
condition or to any other single or duplex heat treat cycle...Inquire.


MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
No extra per heat of material is applicable for normal certification
of guaranteed mechanical properties of billet stock based on a
forge-down test performed either by upsetting, and/or draw-out.
Guaranteed full section properties, in lieu of normal forge-down test
properties, to agreed-to specification...Inquire.

QUANTITY EXTRA
