RJR NABISCO NAMES JOHN J. DELUCCA SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT & TREASURER

 NEW YORK, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- RJR Nabisco, Inc. today announced that John J. Delucca will join the company as senior vice president and treasurer.
 Delucca, 50, was most recently managing director and chief financial officer of Hascoe Associates, a Greenwich, Conn.-based private holding company. At Hascoe Associates, he was responsible for all financial functions, with emphasis on acquisitions, real estate, and investment management of the company's portfolio in addition to investment policy and strategy.
 Delucca will report to Stephen R. Wilson, RJR Nabisco's executive vice president and chief financial officer.

 Delucca began his career as an investment analyst in the insurance industry. He was named vice president-investment at Paul Revere Life Insurance Company (a subsidiary of Avco Corporation) in 1972.
 In 1978, Delucca became vice president and treasurer of Avco Corporation. While at Avco, where he was one of the youngest treasurers for a Fortune "100" company, he is credited with the development of a precedent-setting structure for revolving lines of credit. He later held the same position at Textron Corporation, which acquired Avco Corporation in 1985.
 In 1986, Delucca joined International Controls Corporation, as senior vice president-finance and chief financial officer, serving also as chairman and chief executive officer of the Transway Finance Company unit.
 Two years later, he joined the Trump Group as senior vice president of finance and managing director. In 1990, he became president and chief financial officer of the Lexington Group, a workout and restructuring advisory group.
 He is a director of Edison Controls Corporation, Enzo Biochem, Inc. and Nature Food Centres, Inc.
 Delucca received a B.A. degree in business administration from Bloomfield College in 1966 and an M.B.A. degree in finance (cum laude) from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1969. He taught corporate finance as an instructor at the Seton Hall University Graduate School of Business Administration from 1969 to 1972, and he was an adjunct professor at the Fordham University Graduate School of Business Administration from 1972 to 1980.
