RIVARD & LABRECHE PUBLIC RELATIONS JOINS J. PATRICK MOORE, LAMASTER, FARMER

MINNEAPOLIS, June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Principals at advertising agency J. Patrick Moore, LaMaster, Farmer and public relations firm Rivard & LaBreche recently announced that they have signed a letter of intent to merge their two companies.
The merger represents a significant step toward offering full communications services to clients of both firms, according to Jim Moore, chief executive officer of J. Patrick Moore, LaMaster, Farmer (JPMLF).
"We're very excited to welcome an accomplished public relations agency to our company," said Moore. "With Rivard & LaBreche's reputation and its commitment to quality, we're confident our newly expanded public relations division will produce results-oriented work for current and prospective clients."
As part of the merger, Beth LaBreche will join Christy DeJoy of JPMLF Public Relations, as a managing partner of the division. Sally Rivard, who recently announced her departure from the Twin Cities, will continue to work as a consultant to the division from Milwaukee. Rivard & LaBreche associate Joe Pendal will work within the division.
"The affiliation will offer clients a full-service approach to communications management," said LaBreche, who co-founded Rivard & LaBreche with Rivard in 1990, "with the opportunity to tailor services to best fit their individual needs."
In its new position, Rivard & LaBreche will continue to offer marketing and corporate communications, media relations, public affairs and special events services. These services will enhance the initial public relations support J. Patrick Moore, LaMaster, Farmer had offered its own clients, primarily through the work of DeJoy.
Last month, J. Patrick Moore, LaMaster, Farmer was formed through the merger of 18-year-old J. Patrick Moore & Company and six-year-old LaMaster Farmer et al, both Twin Cities-based advertising agencies.
