RIT Office Abbottabad collects Rs. 5,632 mln tax during fy 2014-15.

ABBOTTABAD -- Regional Income Tax (RIT) Office setting a new record of tax recovery, collected Rs 5,632 million tax during the fiscal year 2014-15, said Chief Commissioner RIT Office Sajjad Haider.

He said that federal board of revenue (FBR) gave a target of Rs 5,593 million to RIT, however the regional office collected 10 per cent more tax money.

Appreciating the efforts of his team, he said that tax collection target could be achieved due to hectic efforts of the officials and officers of RIT office.

He hoped that the staff of RIT office would continue achieving all the targets to be given by the FBR, besides facilitating the tax payers.
