RIGHT ASSOCIATES APPOINTS FOUNDER AND BOARD MEMBER LARRY A. EVANS MANAGING PRINCIPAL OF PHILADELPHIA REGION

 PHILADELPHIA, March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Right Management Consultants, Inc. (NASDAQ: RMCI) today announced it has named a company founder and board member, Larry A. Evans, managing principal of the firm's Philadelphia region, replacing Joseph T. Smith, who is now the company's chief operating officer.
 The company, which does business as Right Associates(R), is the largest publicly held career management and human resources consulting firm and has offices worldwide with headquarters in Philadelphia.
 "As one of four company founders, Larry helped set the standards for service excellence which has made Right Associates the leader in career transition and human resource consulting," said Richard J. Pinola, president and chief executive officer of Right Associates. "He brings a founder's special entrepreneurial energy and commitment to our Philadelphia region."
 Evans comes to Philadelphia after having served as managing principal of Right Associates' Stamford, Conn., region and sales manager of its New York region. While in Stamford, Evans was voted Entrepreneur of the Year of Southern New England 1990.
 Before Right Associates was founded in 1980, Evans spent 10 years in international banking and has related venture capital and investment banking experience.
 Evans holds an M.B.A. in international finance from Stanford University. After obtaining his B.A. degree in physics from the University of Utah, he served for five years as an officer in the U.S. Navy in Adm. Hyman Rickover's nuclear submarine program.
 Evans is on the board of the New York Human Resources Planning Society, a Friend of the Institute of Advanced Study, Princeton, N.J., and vice chairman of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Alumni Association New York Chapter.
 Right Management Consultants, Inc., which does business under the name of Right Associates, develops, markets and delivers career management and human resource consulting services through more than 100 offices worldwide, with primary emphasis in career transition consulting. Career transition consulting is designed to assist employers with employee termination issues and, after termination, to help separated employees develop the skills and strategies needed to find new employment.
