RIGBY HOTEL'S EROTIC PLANS.

THE Eleanor Rigby Hotel in Liverpool city centre wants to host lap-dancing in its basement bar.

The Stanley Street venue's underground bar has hosted jazz nights and guests staying at the boutique hotel.

But owner Patrick Gannon said it is not earning enough money in its current form.

He hopes turning the bar into a lap dancing club will be more lucrative.

Mr Gannon said the licence could be granted in the next six weeks and is now looking for someone to sub-let the bar from him and run it separately.

The Eleanor Rigby, which opened around 15 months ago, has 20 en-suite rooms.
