WEST CALDWELL, N.J., April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Ricoh Corporation Chairman Hisashi Kubo announced today the appointment of Eric L. Steenburgh as the company's president and chief operating officer, effective April 1.
Steenburgh, 51-years-old, is formerly a corporate vice president of Xerox Corporation and senior vice president and general manager of the company's supplies and indirect marketing channels.

The company employs 3,000 people in North America.
Steenburgh has held a number of marketing, manufacturing, engineering and business unit management positions since he began his career at Xerox in 1965. Prior to his current position at Xerox, he was president of the company's Information Products Division.
A native of Johnstown, N.Y., Steenburgh earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from General Motors Institute in Flint, Mich. He received a Master's degree in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, N.Y. He is a member and a director of various community, business and industrial groups.
