   RICKERSON ELECTED VICE PRESIDENT-GENERAL COUNSEL, SECRETARY AT KEENE
    NEW YORK, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Stuart E. Rickerson has been elected vice president-general counsel and secretary to Keene Corporation (NASDAQ: KEEN), a New York-based leading manufacturer of advanced structural and ablative composites for aerospace, defense and commercial applications.
    Previously, Rickerson served as associate general counsel to Philip Morris Inc.  He also served as assistant counsel to Eli Lilly and Company responsible for all pharmaceutical and agricultural products liability cases and earlier as general counsel and secretary to Lilly's Cardiac Pacemakers medical device unit.  He began his legal career at McCarter & English, the oldest law firm in New Jersey.
    Rickerson earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.  He is an active member in the International Association of Defense Counsel having served as vice chairman of the Committee on Corporate Counsel and editor of the Corporate Counsel Newsletter and currently serving as corporate counsel representative to the Continuing Legal Education Board.
