 RICHARD MELNICOFF JOINS EVERNET AS MARKETING VICE PRESIDENT
 LOS ANGELES, Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Evernet Systems Inc. announced today that Richard Melnicoff will join its management team as vice president, Marketing, responsible for designing and managing marketing programs in support of Evernet's 20 offices nationwide. Melnicoff joins Evernet from Computerland where he was vice president, Networking Services. Melnicoff reports directly to Luther Nussbaum, chairman and CEO of Evernet, and will be based in Evernet's Los Angeles headquarters.
 At Computerland, Melnicoff was responsible for establishing the company's Networking Services business. In this role, he developed a business structure for Computerland's networking services and consulting, including definition of standard services, and productivity measurement, training and compensation programs for Computerland's System Engineers. In addition, Melnicoff worked with major networking product vendors such as Banyan, Compaq, Hewlett- Packard, IBM, Microsoft and Novell, in establishing joint marketing, training and sales programs. Prior to Computerland, Melnicoff was a member of the Technology Intensive Industries Group of the management consulting firm, Booz, Allen & Hamilton Inc. Client consulting engagements included new product definition, industry and competitive analysis, technology management, acquisition/divestiture strategies and operations cost improvement.
 According to Nussbaum, "Rich's broad strategic, marketing and management skills make him an extremely valuable addition to our executive team. His experience in marketing strategies for service companies will be important as we continue to deliver higher value integration services to our customers with complex networks. We expect that Rich will strongly contribute to furthering our strategy of providing network system integration services to Fortune 1000 companies."
 Evernet Systems Inc., headquartered in Los Angeles, is a nationwide network systems integrator providing design, installation and service for local- and wide-area networks. Evernet was recently selected as the network systems integrator by General Foods, USA, a $6 billion division of Kraft General Foods. Evernet serves more than 2,000 customers including 300 Fortune 1000 companies, from its 20 offices.
