 RICHARD LINDHEIM TO DEPART MCA TELEVISION GROUP
 UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Richard D.


Lindheim, executive vice president, program strategy, MCA Television Group, has requested release from his contract, to which MCA has agreed, effective July 15.
 "For some time, I have had the desire to pull back from the daily grind, re-examine my goals and explore some different opportunities," said Lindheim. "I have been fortunate to have been associated for so many happy years with MCA, and I appreciate their understanding in granting me this release."

We all wish him the best in his future endeavors," said Tom Wertheimer, executive vice president, MCA Inc. and chairman, MCA Television Group.
 Lindheim joined Universal Television in February 1979 to create and develop new projects. He was named vice president, current programming in March 1981; was later given additional responsibilities and promoted to senior vice president, series programming; and in 1987 was appointed executive vice president, creative affairs. In June 1991, he advanced to his current position.
