RICHARD EAMER RESIGNS AS CHAIRMAN OF HILLHAVEN

 TACOMA, Wash., Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hillhaven Corp. (AMEX: HIL) announced today that Richard K. Eamer has resigned as chairman and as a member of the board of directors of Hillhaven. The board of directors will elect a successor chairman on Sept. 28 in conjunction with Hillhaven's annual meeting.
 Hillhaven is one of the nation's largest diversified health care providers, operating over 400 nursing centers, retirement housing communities and pharmacy outlets in 36 states.
