 RICHARD D. SIMMONS JOINS DRUG SCREENING
 BLACKWOOD, N.J., May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of


Drug Screening Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: DRUG), today announced the election to Richard D. Simmons as a director.
 Simmons, 57, is president of the International Herald Tribune, a global newspaper with daily circulation in 164 countries. From 1981 to 1991, Simmons was president of The Washington Post Company.
 Previously, he was with The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation where he served in various capacities including vice chairman and a director, president of Moody's Investors Service and president of Dun & Bradstreet, Inc.
 Simmons currently is a director of J.P. Morgan & Co., Inc., Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York, the Union Pacific Corporation, and The Washington Post Company. He is also a member of the General Electric Investments Corporation Equity Advisory Board and a council member of the White Burkett Miller Center of Public Affairs at the University of Virginia.
 Simmons is a graduate of Harvard College and Columbia University School of Law.
